Dubbed Africa’s most unconventional and provocative Christian movie; The Married & Loving It film premiered at a star-studded event at Johannesburg’s Northgate Shopping Centre on Thursday, 30 September

Hosted by Paradigm Films the audience was treated to a special screening of the film, which presented them with intrigue, dynamic marriage scenarios, and some hot steamy baptismal pool intimate scenes.

Set against a backdrop of a touching marriage love story about a young pastor who loses his job and his life is disrupted after being accused of infidelity by his assistant pastor.

CAST MEMBERS FROM AROUND THE CONTINENT

The cast members include lead characters played by South African based, Angolan actress Weza Da Silva and Fumani Shilubana who is known for his roles in the popular films Zama Zama, My Father’s War, and Kalushi.

“We are coming side by side to say “here is a helping hand in telling the greatest story ever told” the story of sacrifice, you and I are on the winning side together we can make a difference” said Dr Tich Tanyanyiwa, the film’s executive producer.

FOCUS ON TRIALS AND TRIBULATIONS OF MARRIAGE

He said that the pastor and his wife in the storyline experience one of their greatest tests that could have destroyed most marriages.

“Marriages are under great pressure today and this movie compares different marriage scenarios narrated in a candid and open way that evokes much needed dialogue that allows one to reflect, learn, build and effect the necessary cause of action towards a healthy married life,” said Tanyanyiwa.
