    Cape Town City have announced the addition of two new members to their coaching staff.

    Matthew Haywood has been appointed the DStv Premiership club’s new DStv Diski head coach.

    Haywood has previously worked with Hellenic, Stellenbosch FC, Fulham and Tottenham.

    They have also appointed Neven Payne as new head coach of the Under-19 SAB team.

    A club statement read: “Cape Town City would like to formally welcome Matt Haywood who becomes the new head coach of the club’s U21 Diski team.

    “Haywood brings a wealth of youth development experience from both SA and Europe, as we aim to nurture the next generation of elite local talents.

    “Coach Payne has been integral in producing Cape Town’s finest professional footballers for over 30 years. We look forward to the emergence of more Cape talent!”
