Region D areas of Soweto include Jabulani, Orlando East, and Orlando West, Diepkloof, Dube, and Meadowlands.

The Executive Mayor of Johannesburg Jolidee Matongo further revealed other facilities in the new exciting development project. He confirmed the safe hub also features a hockey turf and indoor tennis courts.

Matongo highlighted the inspiration behind the project. The hub aims to create a community of peace and protection against social ills.

“The Jabulani Safe Hub must be the epicenter of turning communities into places of refuge and peace and not incubators of social ills. We seek to protect young,” the mayor said.

“Sport and recreation provide young people the opportunity for skills development, providing a basis for an active and healthy lifestyle,” Matongo concluded.
