Paris Saint-Germain have included forward Kylian Mbappe in their squad for Tuesday’s Champions League semi-final second leg against Manchester City, despite the Frenchman struggling with a calf injury.

Mbappe complained of discomfort after the first leg, a 2-1 win in City’s favour, and was left out of the squad to face Lens because of this injury.

However, despite fears that he would not be ready for Tuesday’s game, PSG confirmed on their official website that Mbappe has been included in the squad and will travel with the team to the Etihad Stadium.

On first glance, it would seem as though Mbappe has recovered from his problem, but footage captured by Le Parisien would suggest otherwise.

Mbappe was filmed arriving at the airport with the rest of the team, but he was walking with a very obvious limp, looking a lot like the robot we all believe he secretly is deep down.

With that in mind, it seems highly unlikely that Mbappe will start against City, and there’s a good chance he won’t even make it onto the pitch.

Aside from Mbappe, PSG are almost at full strength for the crucial tie, with only the suspended Idrissa Gueye joining left-back Juan Bernat on the sidelines.

PSG go into the game trailing by a goal and needing to score at least twice to cancel out City’s two away goals, and Neymar called on fans to get behind the team and will them on to victory.

“We have a very difficult match against Manchester City, but we have to believe, no matter what the stats or our percentage chance of winning is,” he told the club’s official website.

“I think that every Parisian has to believe in us, I’ll be the first to do so. I’m going to fight and do everything in my power to get the victory.”
