Reports reaching our news desk indicate that Ahmed died on Friday morning, April 9, after falling down.
At the time of publishing, it was not clear what could have led to the Kamukunji parliamentary aspirant’s death.
EALA MP Simon Mbugua, a friend of the deceased, claimed that the city politician died due to suspected complications of the banned Sputnik V vaccine which Johnny had recently taken. Muhabarishaji.com could not independently verify the claim.
The deceased, who was also the Deputy Secretary-General of the Jamia Mosque, will be laid rest later today (Friday) in line with Muslim traditions.
