Wyke had gone five games without a goal following his move to Wigan, but came alive towards the end of September with superb showings against Accrington, Cheltenham and Sheffield Wednesday.

Notched four goals in those three games, and also grabbed himself an assist as the Latics pushed themselves firmly into promotion contention.

The former West Ham man has stepped up to become Lincoln’s main man this term and turned in a series of eye-catching displays during September.

Scully’s performance against Cambridge was genuinely special as he scored two and set-up the other three in a convincing 5-1 win at the Abbey Stadium.

Will Keane

The second Wigan player to make the list and rightly so after a brilliant September for Leam Richardson’s side.

The former Manchester United trainee helped himself to three goals and an assist for the Latics, with Keane playing a starring role alongside Wyke up top.

There has only been three League One games out of 11 where Stockton hasn’t contributed a goal or an assist for Morecambe.

He was on fire during the month of September in particular, scoring five times in five games – including one in the 2-0 home win over Lincoln.

The former Forest Green defender is really making a big impact at the Stadium of Light.

Winning goals against promotion rivals Accrington and Bolton meant Winchester had an outstanding month, and he also added an assist in Sunderland’s 5-0 hammering of Cheltenham.

Jorge Grant’s replacement arrived on loan from Manchester City and really showed his class in September.

Three goals against Cambridge, Rotherham and Burton highlighted how comfortable Fiorini now is at League One level, with Lincoln winning two of the three games he netted in.
